Guide for selecting the perfect Table Linen
1.Know your size.
Before investing in table linens, it is important that to be sure of the size of your table. As a general rule a 30cm (12 inch) drop should at each side and end for drape. In simple terms, the linen tablecloth you choose should be 60cms (24 inches) wider and longer than your table. For example if your table measurement were 120 x 300cm, the best-fit linen tablecloth for you would be the 183 x 366cm. If you need help choosing the best tablecloth size for your table, please use our online Tablecloth Size Guide. If you prefer a longer drape this will need to be calculated separately, as our size guide does not allow for this. Please note that for many of our ranges, the napkins, placemats and runners also come in a variety of sizes. It is important to take your table size and the number of place settings you want into consideration when choosing these items.

Ferguson's double damask napery is supplied to the world's top retail establishments, exclusive households, palaces, embassies and finest hotels. Satin Band
Available in both our Luxury and Premium luxury collections, this minimalist design is a very popular and traditionally used for table linens. Please note, Satin Band is only available in White.
Shamrock
Available in our Luxury collection, this popular design is based very much around the Irish emblem, Shamrock. The Shamrock is a plant with trifoliate leaves, used reputedly, by Saint Patrick to illustrate the doctrine of the Trinity.
Colmcille
Available in our Luxury collection, this design is named in memory of St. Columba, also known as Colmcille. Based around Celtic knot work, it is believed by some this visual vocabulary of Celtic design carries many messages and is said to represent the repeated crossing of the spiritual and physical paths in our lives.
Plain

4. Choose Hem Option where available
Some ranges are available with a choice of 2 row corded or hemstitched hem options. Examples of these hem options are shown in the images below.
5. Colour
Complete your purchase by selected your preferred colour. Some ranges are only available in white, while others have a variety of colours to choose from. Where a choice is offered, you will be able to select your preferred colour from a drop down list.
6. Accessorize
Complete the look by complementing your chosen product with other items from the range. Many of our ranges include table cloths, napkins, table runners and placemats for an elegant coordinated finish.
